2009-09-18 [Neferoth, the lethargic stigmata]: Anyways, so the dog thing, (was my dog, Duffy's birthday yesterday(Thursday) and the reason they don't understand things like the depth of water is because they simply don't have the mental capacity too. No animal understands gravity, is my main point in all of this(it's what I know most about it). So like gravity, and not knowing that things fall if thrown up(dogs are really good at catching balls ect. because of eye contact), they also don't know that if in water, a substance with much less solidity then the ground, don't realize they can sick.. I believe(in a lot of things, haha) that after a dogs first(or first few) times swimming they just paddle because they're not sure what to do, and realizing it keeps them afloat, they continue to do so, still not understanding why...


Done with rant, haven't been able to do that in a while or so now. Heh. Anyways, My dog, Duffy, thinks he's a human, dog, cat, thing... He's a BIG golden lab, And he sits with his butt on the couch, and his paws on the ground, he'll brush up against your leg(knocking most people who are new to him over), and try to sit on your lap.. If you let him. He loves water, and he's a great catch, in all he's the best dog I've ever had.. Just turned 8. I love fucking with his jowls! And he reminds me of my dad, because my dad has jowls! XD

My Shitzu thinks she's a rotweiler, and my lab Abby thinks she's a lap dog.
None of them are afraid of water.
And I'm sad to say, Abby really isn't that stupid, but she won't jump over gates, as far as what dogs wont do.

and thats about it.
It's been the same-old-routine of trying to drown out the world while trying to rule it witha glass of chai in my hand.
